WHO WE ARE & WHAT WE DO

Established in 2001, Purple Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, all-volunteer organization whose mission is to raise funds to improve the lives of people in the Dallas area who are living with or are affected by HIV/AIDS. With donated proceeds of more than $400,000, Purple Foundation has become an invaluable source of revenue for local charity organizations whose work reflects our mission.

HOW WE DO IT

Purple Foundation produces the annual Purple Party® Weekend in addition to other fundraising events throughout the year. Purple Party Weekend is a sensational weekend of dance events featuring electrifying visual performances and music by the world’s most popular DJs. Purple Party attracts dance-music lovers from all over the world and is one of the largest nonprofit, all-volunteer charity dance fundraisers in the United States.

Event tickets, door admission, and merchandise sales are NOT tax deductible. Only donations are considered tax deductible, not purchases (for which goods or services are given in return).

AIDS Services of Dallas (ASD)
The mission of ASD is to create and strengthen healthy communities through the delivery of quality, affordable, service-enriched housing for individuals and families living with HIV/AIDS. ASD’s mission includes advocacy, education, and the development of affordable housing options and community development opportunities, both for its residents living with HIV/AIDS, and for economically disadvantaged people.

OUR ORGANIZATION

2012 Purple Party Weekend Guide Advertising

Include your business or organization in the 2012 Purple Guide! The Purple Guide is a full-color event program for Purple Party Weekend 2012 benefiting AIDS Services of Dallas containing advertisements, event details, and Dallas-area maps.  The guide will be released early April and distributed heavily in the Dallas area. We will also have distribution points in Fort Worth, Houston, Austin, and San Antonio. Additionally, we will have expanded coverage during Easter Weekend, Cedar Springs Arts Festival, and Fiesta in San Antonio. The Purple Guide will also be given to all attendees of Purple Party Weekend.

Dallas Purple Party is a sensational weekend of dance events featuring electrifying visual performances and music by the world’s most popular DJs. Purple Party attracts dance-music lovers from all over the world and is one of the largest nonprofit, all-volunteer dance fundraisers in the United States raising over $400,000 to local charities. This year’s beneficiary is AIDS Services of Dallas.

To increase foot-traffic during Purple Party Weekend we recommend offering a discount or incentive for your business to Weekend Pass holders. You can highlight the discount in your advertisement. If you plan on offering a discount or incentive to Weekend Pass holders, please let us know so we can list your business on our website.
